Introducing a new range of GREEN ANTI-FOAMERS for water-based coatings.

Siliconi SPA has developed Green Anti-Foamers using sustainable raw materials, without any  silicones or mineral oils, to prevent and cut foam effectively, with high-quality coatings that include a % of renewable material in their formulation.


These products are suitable for a wide range of PVC (low to high PVC), high gloss enamels and water-borne varnishes.


The products are supplied as an emulsion or in 100% active form.


It is recommended to use products at dilutions between 0.1 and 0.5%.

We will also have a stand (No. 338) at the next edition of Paint&Coatings. The fair runs on the 14th and 15th of November, don't miss it - join us to close a year full of incredible events!

The time has come to transform effectiveness into efficiency. 

Agriculture plays a key role in the Spanish productive network and in recent years has faced one of the greatest challenges it has ever faced: the transformation process towards a more sustainable future.  

 

We need to produce more, reducing the energy and climate resources used, in order to supply the estimated population in 2030. The direct focus of all this transformation is soil; there is an urgent need to increase its resilience. 

And we are faced with these challenges:

R&D experts from companies that are already at the forefront of crop research will share their views and experience regarding these issues, namely BlackEarth, Borregaard, Perstorp, and Lallemand. The consulting firm GAB-SynTech will give us their point of view from a legal perspective and we will present projects such as Biolupulus or Ekonoke, examples of new, innovative, and sustainable agricultural production models. Our colleagues Patricia Camelo and Marcela Miranda have been at the headquarters in Barcelona for some intensive training. During this time, they were able to take an in-depth look at the different speciality products and their performance in different types of formulations as well as visit local clients and our industrial laboratory.

 

This training has continued upon their return to the subsidiaries in Colombia and Chile, where Patricia and Marcela both hold positions as industry managers in the areas of construction, ceramics, plastics, and adhesives.

The new fertiliser regulations have entered into force. This is Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 June 2019 laying down rules on the making available on the market of EU fertilising products and amending Regulations (EC) No 1069/2009 and (EC) No 1107/2009 and repealing Regulation (EC) No 2003/2003.

 

We're helping our clients to adapt their formulations and register products under this regulation, which ensures more comprehensive scrutiny of products used as fertilisers.

 

As part of our commitment to the environment and the 2030 agenda, we play an active role in reducing ingredients that are harmful to the environment and health.

 

For this reason, we support our clients in the process of adapting to the new requirements, working together with experts in the field who participated in the drafting of the legal text.
